21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa
With its cafés, bookstores, lifestyle stores and boutiques selling the latest fashions, the Tokyo district of Daikanyama has long been very popular. The one place I think that best reflects the whole neighborhood is Tenoha — a café, restaurant, lifestyle store and studio.
The first building is its studio, which has meeting rooms, a library and copy machines and is a great space for people wanting to work in an attractive environment. Next to it is a wide area decorated in dark tones and trees with twinkling lights. On one side is the lifestyle store, selling plates, plants and other household decorations. On the other side, the Bondolfi Boncaffe offers a varied menu with such items as coffee, cakes and panini. For me, the highlight was the panini, filled with tomatoes, mozzarella and rocket within the crunchiest baked bread. The smell was delectable, and the panini was pleasing to both the eye and palate.
Tenoha has it all: great style and great food. It would be a wonderful place to visit as a family and enjoy every part of it together.
